Allagan Namazu

A client approached me having an idea- a mascot representing his Twitch chat bot, a Namazu in Allagan style.
I initially crated an icon for him, later designed and drew the full body for the namazu, and created images featuring the character to be used in his Twitch scenes. The artworks themselves are void of any text assets as they are, but have open space left so the client can add text that suits his branding.
The reference sheet was in fact created after the artworks, so some design disrepancies are present. I simply wanted to take the opportunity to create a more technical-looking and detailed reference sheet.

The Namazu race and the Allagan empire are from Final Fantasy XIV, owned by Square Enix.
